sundays at northstar

we want nothing more than to help you connect with god and find community with people.
Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you’re welcome here. We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping every person live the full life for which God created all of us.

live band + Energetic

compass
auditorium

Our Compass Auditorium is home to our live, full band and the energy in this room is incredible. Our Senior Pastor, Mike Linch, speaks live from this room and its broadcast to our other venue, as well as our overflow rooms. If you're looking for an immersive worship and teaching experience, this is the venue for you!
intimate + Acoustic

chapel at
true north

The Chapel at True North is our acoustic venue and offers a more intimate worship experience lead from piano or acoustic guitar. The message each Sunday is streamed live on screen to this venue and Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of each month. The Chapel is a smaller venue than Compass Auditorium, so this venue may be the best for you if you're looking for a "small church" feel.

what to expect

We gather each Sunday and there is a spot for everyone of all ages to join us. Read below to learn more about what to expect at NorthStar Church.

01

when do we meet?

We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:50AM, 10:10AM and 11:30AM. We're located at 3413 Blue Springs Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

02

Is there a place for my kids?

In NorthStar Kids, children 5th grade and younger experience Jesus on their level. NorthStar Kids is a collection of safe, age-appropriate environments where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time at 8:50AM, 10:10AM and 11:30AM.

We have programming as well for students 6th – 12th grade.

678 is our Middle School Ministry and they meet for teaching and worship at 10:10AM & 11:30AM.

HSM is our High School Ministry and they meet for teaching and worship at 10:10AM. Then on Sunday nights at 6:00PM, HSM meets back at NorthStar Church for grade-based discipleship groups.

* We are so passionate about children having fun while they learn about Jesus that we prefer children 5th grade and younger not attend the adult service in the auditorium.

03

Where do I park?

All of our parking lots will be open and available, so feel free to park in the Compass, True North or Creekside parking lots.

If you're a First Time Guest, be sure to turn your flashers on when you enter the parking lot because we've got parking spaces saved specifically for you!

04

how long is the service?

Services last about one hour. We start by singing three to four songs. Then the speaker preaches. If you want to see our preaching style, check out our this past Sunday.

If you’re visiting for the first time, we want to know! You're extremely important to us, so please fill out a connection card or stop by the Guest Services desk. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

05

Can I come if i'm ______________?

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at NorthStar. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
