Esther’s Cafe

Celebrating Missions…and Coffee!

Esther’s is far more than a coffee house…it’s a warm and welcoming gathering place for our NorthStar families on Sunday mornings. You can drop in to get a FREE hot or iced cup of coffee, while also grabbing a seat and watching our worship services live on the large-screen TVs.

Esther’s Café has a Missions theme, and is named after Esther Saintus, who serves in our sister church – NorthStar Haiti.  Esther’s Café is open from 9am-12pm each Sunday in our Compass building.

VENUES

COMPASS

The Compass auditorium is the largest venue on NorthStar’s campus, seating approximately 800 people. A live message is delivered to our congregation each week in the Compass, where the stage is also flanked by two large HD screens that give additional viewpoints of the band and speaker. The music in Compass is considered “loud and electric,” and is accompanied by moving lights. We typically have a full band w/ vocalists. If you enjoy Hillsong United, Crowder, Bethel Music, or Passion, you’ll enjoy the worship experience in Compass!

ONLINE

NorthStar has a passion to be one of the pioneers in making the online experience as integral to our mission as our live experience is each week.  We have an online campus pastor who interacts with our online congregation each week, and we’ll be rolling out online small groups in the months to come. You can always check it out online at 9:30am and 11am each Sunday at live.northstarchurch.org.

CHAPEL @ TRUE NORTH

The Chapel is located in the True North building, and seats about 150 people. The Sunday message is broadcast on a large center screen. This space allows for smaller gatherings with more time set aside for personal devotional, and is designed for those wanting a more intimate worship experience with opportunities for prayer and communion. Songs featured are often by artists such as All Sons and Daughters, Vertical Church and Passion. A worship leader and a background vocalist are accompanied by drums, mandolin, cello, piano, guitar, and ukulele.

PATIO @ TRUE NORTH

Located at the end of the True North building, our Patio venue is open seasonally and has become a popular location on Sunday mornings between March and November. Five tables with market umbrellas are setup on the patio, where we have a 60-inch HDTV and outdoor speakers to broadcast the weekly sermon video feed from our Compass venue. Worship audio before and after the message is delivered from our True North Chapel venue.

We are so passionate about children having fun while they learn about Jesus that we prefer children 5th grade and younger not attend the adult service in the auditorium.
