“and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16 ESV
CLING TO HIS GRACE
A woman fell out of a second floor window and landed in a slow moving garbage truck. Half buried in the litter, she tried without success to get the truck driver’s attention. A foreign diplomat standing on the sidewalk saw her and remarked, “Another example of how wasteful Americans are. That woman looks like she’s good for at least another 10 years.”
When we need help we don’t need people who will give up on us. What we need is grace. At our time of greatest need Jesus offers us grace. Grace is God’s provisions for our need. God’s provisions are God-sized and always just what we need. Our greatest need is the forgiveness of sin and the blessing of that is an eternal inheritance in heaven.
God’s grace is when God gives you things that you don’t deserve. Those things are grace gifts from God. Can you list some of the grace gifts you have been given? After you take some time to write your list, express your gratitude to Him.
