BIBLICAL COUNSELING

01

WHAT biblical counseling IS...

In pastoral counseling we use the Bible as our primary guide in counseling individuals. While there is a need for licensed counseling, NorthStar approaches each session with the understanding that people are created to be in a vertical relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and with others. Facilitating the restoration of these vital relationships is an important part of the counseling process, our relationship with Jesus Christ being the primary focus.

02

WHAT biblical counseling ISN'T...

Our counselors do not possess professional licenses or certifications issued by the State of Georgia for the practice of professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work specialties; nor do they necessarily possess the required education, experience or training for such licenses.
