About

Why We Exist

We exist to help people find their way home and not just an earthly home, but a heavenly home as well.

Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you’re welcome here. Our hope is to give you a place where you experience a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people.

We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping every person live the full life for which God created all of us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I go when I get there?

Our parking team will direct you to the closest available spot. Just follow the smiling faces…we reserve parking spots for our first time guests, so if you’re new to NorthStar, be sure to turn your flashers on when you enter the parking lot.

As you’re walking to the building, our greeting team will meet you and show you where to find the auditorium, restrooms, and children’s ministry. If you need anything throughout the day—mints, a Bible, or a pen—feel free to stop by the Guest Services desk. Or, just ask anyone with a NorthStar Next lanyard or name tag. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you.

What do you have for my kids?

In NorthStar Kidz, children 5th grade and younger experience Jesus on their level. NorthStar Kidz is a collection of safe, age-appropriate environments where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time.

We have programming as well for students 6th – 12th grade.  678 is our Middle School Ministry and they meet for teaching and worship at 9:30 & 11AM.  HSM is our High School Ministry and they meet for teaching and worship at 11AM.

We are so passionate about children having fun while they learn about Jesus that we prefer children 5th grade and younger not attend the adult service in the auditorium.

What should I wear?

Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

How long is the service?

Services last about one hour. We start by singing three to four songs. Then the speaker preaches. If you want to see our preaching style, check out our current series.

If you’re visiting for the first time, we want to know!. You are a very important person to us!So please fill out a connection card or stop by the Guest Services desk. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

Can I come if I'm ___________________?

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at NorthStar. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
