Our October BIG GIVE is our annual Bags of Kindness giveaway. Pick up a NorthStar grocery bag on Sunday, October 12 & Sunday, October 19 at NorthStar Church, then fill them with the items on the shopping list inside the bag. Return bags to NorthStar Church on Sunday, October 26 between 8:50am and 12:30pm. The bags will be given to families in need referred to NorthStar by local school social workers.  These families will receive a voucher allowing them to come by NorthStar and pick up one of these bags filled with items for their Thanksgiving Meal!  Families will be greeted by our awesome NorthStar volunteers as they drive through up to the front of our Compass Center.

(Please do not place any glass containers of food items in the bags.)

• $10 Grocery Gift Card to Publix, Kroger or Walmart (for family to buy turkey/ham)
• Canned Sweet Potatoes or Yams (2)
• Cranberry Sauceo Canned Green Beans (2)
• Canned Corn (2)
• Box of Instant Mashed Potatoes
• Package of Turkey Gravy dry mix (2)
• Canned Soup – Cream of Mushroom/Chicken/Celery (2)
• Dessert or Brownie Mix
• Dressing or Stuffing Mix
• Cornbread or Biscuit Mix
• Macaroni & Cheese Mix or Rice (boxed)
• Jello (2)
• Happy Thanksgiving Card (Sign with first names only please)
