First time at NorthStar?

Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you’re welcome here. We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping every person live the full life for which God created all of us.

Our Compass Auditorium is home to our live, full band and the energy in this room is incredible. Our Senior Pastor, Mike Linch, speaks live from this room and it is broadcast to our other venue, as well as our overflow rooms. If you're looking for an immersive worship and teaching experience, this is the venue for you!

chapel at
true north

The Chapel at True North is our acoustic venue and offers a more intimate worship experience led from piano or acoustic guitar. The message each Sunday is streamed live on screen to this venue and Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of each month. The Chapel is a smaller venue than Compass Auditorium, so this venue may be the best for you if you're looking for a "small church" feel.

Our Kids ministry at NorthStar is designed to offer grade-specific worship + teaching on a level that your child will understand and be craving to come back to. From energetic worship, to character-driven teaching, to grade-level breakout groups...we want your child leaving on fire for Jesus!

Our Kids environments are located in the Compass building.

Students

We believe that pouring into the next generation couldn't be more important. Our 678 and HSM ministries are designed to do just that...pour into your student in a way that's engaging to them. The worship is student-led and the teaching is on a level that they'll comprehend and be challenged by.

Our student environments are located on the second floor of the True North building.

what to expect

We gather each Sunday and there is a spot for everyone of all ages to join us. Read below to learn more about what to expect at NorthStar Church.

when + where we meet

We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:50AM, 10:10AM and 11:30AM. We're located at 3413 Blue Springs Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

regular + Guest parking

All of our parking lots will be open and available, so feel free to park in the Compass, True North or Creekside parking lots.

If you're a First Time Guest, be sure to turn your flashers on when you enter the parking lot because we've got parking spaces saved specifically for you!

guest services + Signage

We know how important it is for you to know where to go when you arrive on our campus. We have provided ample signage to help you get from one place to another. If you need additional help, let one of our Guest Service volunteers know and they can help you in any way you need. They will be wearing a red lanyard that says “HOW CAN I HELP?”

worship services

Our services last between 50-55 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs. Then the speaker preaches. If you want to see our preaching style, check out our this past Sunday.

If you’re visiting for the first time, we want to know! You're extremely important to us, so please fill out a connection card or stop by the Next Steps desk. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

Newcomers tour

If you’ve been attending NorthStar, but are ready to learn more and see what happens on campus on a typical Sunday morning, we’d love for you to join us for our next Newcomers Tour. The tour begins at 10:00AM, and you’ll be taken on an hour-long behind the scenes tour, where you’ll meet Senior Pastor Mike Linch and several staff along the way.
